Today’s the day…and I could not be more excited!
Spring Clean: Devotions for Lent has been a labor of love over two years in the making, and I’m so pleased and proud to finally unveil it and share it with the world. The official book summary:
Words for clean and pure occur over 300 times in the Bible; this collection of meditations for the season of Lent invites readers to take a deep (contextual) and wide (for all times) look into these scriptures and stories. From Shrove (Pancake) Tuesday through Easter, daily devotions offer small groups, Sunday school classes, book clubs, and/or individual devotees a chance to explore what it means to be clean and pure in spirit—as individuals, as well as in families and communities.
Each entry includes a Bible reading, application, reflection, prayer points, and suggested action steps to help move Lent beyond a season of mere ritual deprivation into a sacred cleansing of ourselves inside and out, an unearthing of who God always created us to be.
I hope you love it.
My favorite way to celebrate is always with gifts, so this book launch comes with a special offer: The first 25 readers to order a copy of Spring Clean in paperback or e-book form and email me a screen shot of your receipt will receive a FREE PDF Download of the Spring Clean Companion Journal—lined or unlined, take your pick! The Companion Journal includes space for each day’s theme, Bible verses, mental health check-ins, reflection responses, and personal prayers to chronicle your Lenten experience. (The journal will also be for sale on Amazon, in paperback only.)
Thank you for celebrating with me, and as always, thank you for reading!
